In an exclusive interview, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s former bodyguard reveals that since Brad and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston reconnected at the 2009 Academy Awards, they have hooked up four times — three times in LA and once in New York — and even recently shared a passionate kiss. “I know that he still loves her,” the ex-bodyguard Bill, who for security reasons chooses only to be identified by his first name, tells In Touch. In fact, there was one date that Bill says brought them closer than ever — and since then, their relationship has heated up even more. Brad and Jen arranged a secret meeting at the trails off of Western Canyon Road in Beverly Hills on December 9, Bill says. At 3:30p.m., Jen pulled up to the location in her Bentley, and Brad arrived on his motorcycle. After Brad climbed into Jen’s passenger seat, “They were very cozy, clearly embracing,” Bill reveals for the first time. “Several times, Brad and Jen were hugging and kissing.” After talking and nuzzling for about 30 to 40 minutes, Bill, who was on “paparazzi watch,” advised the pair that they should leave, as photographers were spotted just a few miles away. “Jennifer left first, flashing Brad a quick peace sign and a smile,” says Bill. “Brad jogged back to his motorcycle, drove off and went for an hour bike ride.”

Tourists out for a stroll in Venice, Italy, on Feb. 22 were in for a surprise: The biggest movie stars in the world, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, were also walking around town. But the bigger shock was who was with them. The couple, who have kept twins Vivienne and Knox almost completely hidden since their July 2008 birth, proudly carried the 19-month-olds in their arms. “It was such a surprise to see the twins,” one eyewitness tells Life & Style. “They’ve gotten so much bigger since the last time the world saw them — they’re like little kids and not babies anymore. And I couldn’t believe how much they look like big sister Shiloh, especially with those lips!”

Despite the raft of recent reports that Brad, 46, and Angie, 34, had met with a lawyer to arrange their split (which the lawyer denied), Brad, Angelina and their brood spent about a week out and about in the Italian city. On Feb. 16, they stopped for ice cream — lemon for Angie, black cherry, vanilla, caramel and strawberry for the kids, nothing for Brad — at La Gelateria Lo Squero. “They seemed very peaceful, happy,” co-owner Beatrice Zennaro tells Life & Style. “I read in the newspapers that they were having problems, but it didn’t seem the case.”

So why have the twins been hidden for so long? Brad and Angie haven’t felt the need to show them off. “Friends and family see the twins all the time,” notes a family insider. “Brad and Angelina have large homes that allow for playing and running and exploring. If you had a château in France or a mansion in LA, you wouldn’t need to take the kids out much either.”

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have managed to trick the world into thinking everything is fine, In Touch has exclusive details that making the decision to leave was a long time coming for Brad, who friends say has been miserable for months.

But as In Touch can now exclusively reveal, Brad’s growing feelings for Jen helped ease his pain and back in March, he took great pains to arrange a secret meeting in NYC’s Central Park for Jen, himself, and his daughters Shiloh and Zahara. “One week in late March, I overheard security saying that Brad was meeting with [Jen] in Central Park before going to see Angelina on the set,” former Waldorf-Astoria employee Anna Kowalski tells In Touch. “He took Shiloh and Zahara in the car with him.” The whole thing was very carefully planned, says an insider, with Brad driven to a location near the Mount Sinai School of Medicine on 5th Avenue, where he met Jen at her SUV in the park. No doubt it was nerve-wracking. At the time, the last thing he wanted was for Angelina to fi and out he’d introduced Jen to their children. But for the formerly married couple, it was well worth it. “Zahara was asleep in the car with the driver, so Jen only got to talk with Shiloh,” says a friend of the actress, who adds that during the 20-minute meeting, Jen was moved to tears seeing her ex-husband’s adorable daughter. “She said that all that had happened in their past seemed to melt away that day,” says the friend, who adds that after the meeting, Jen remarked that she’s “proud of Brad and thinks he’s a great dad.” Even though Brad wasn’t happy with the way his life was going with Angelina, the friend says, Jen said, “at least he had this beautiful little girl.” And for Jen, who had been trying for children with Brad when they were married, that was a lot.

“Angelina decided about four months ago that she really wanted to try to get pregnant again,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “She basically told Brad that if it happens, it happens and that she wasn’t going to concern herself with birth control. Angie’s most at peace when a baby is coming.”

Just two months ago, Angie freely admitted to the British magazine Stylist her desire to expand the diverse Jolie-Pitt clan. “I can see further additions to the family — both adopted and our own,” she said. And like Angie, Brad’s publicly expressed his eagerness to add more kids to their bountiful brood. “I am in love, and I have the most beautiful family — what else can a guy want,” he says. “We’re so lucky to have… children from around the world. They’re all fantastic, and we would love another.”

Nearly everywhere Angie and Brad have gone, their four oldest children — Maddox, Pax and the boys’ sisters, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, 2 — have been seen with them. Noticeably absent, however, have been the couple’s two youngest kids, twins Vivienne and Knox, who’ll turn 1 on July 12. In fact, the twins have been spotted in public only once since January: when they were rushed through an airport near Tokyo while being closely guarded by their parents. Since then, they’ve remained in hiding — leading to speculation that something could be wrong.

Now Life & Style has learned that Brad and Angelina have been seriously concerned about the twins’ health. The babies are suffering from serious digestive problems, says an insider close to the family. “They’re both hypersensitive,” the insider tells Life & Style. “Knox has trouble holding down his food. He spits up nearly every meal.” Vivienne, meanwhile, has food and environmental allergies, explains the insider: “Right now, she’s on a lactose and gluten-free diet, and she’s still underweight.”

Angelina, 34, and Brad, 45, have been so worried, they’ve had the twins undergo genetic testing and have been adamant about keeping them behind closed doors. In truth, the real reason Brad and Angelina have been reluctant to take the twins out has to do with their own fears, says the insider. “Because of their delicate state, Knox and Vivienne need to be kept away from anything they could possibly be allergic to,” the insider explains. “That’s a lot easier to do when they’re home and in a controlled environment.”

As Brad Pitt copes with tension at home, he has been getting support from an unlikely ally — his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Friends say that in recent weeks, Brad and Jen, 40, have been talking frequently on the phone and texting each other, their conversations becoming longer and more personal as he confides in her about his current situation. In fact, In Touch can exclusively reveal that on April 23, after Brad visited Angelina, 33, on the NYC set of Salt, he drove across town to where Jen’s film The Baster was in production — and the pair quietly met face-to-face. “He pulled up in his black SUV,” reveals a mutual friend of the former couple, although Jen’s rep denies the story. “He arrived on the opposite end of the set from where Jen’s trailer was, and Jen snuck into his car. They drove around New York City together, talking,” according to a friend of the former couple. “Brad confessed his feelings to Jen,” the friend says. “He told her that he is trying to make his relationship with Angelina work, but it is failing.” After about an hour, Brad dropped Jen off at The Greenwich Hotel and drove away. The meeting had been something they’d been organizing for weeks. “They had to plan it meticulously so no one would find out,” the friend says. After so much time has gone by, Brad and Jen seem to have grown to value their friendship more. And he’s proving it by wearing a necklace she gave him for his 45th birthday on December 18. “It’s an antique pendant,” a confidante shares, adding that she left it for him at the offices of his production company, Plan B. “She found it, and knew Brad would love it.”
