Season's Greetings from Baby Swags

Dec 28, 2008 by

Hi everyone! Boy has it been a fun-filled year. We have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to have some of our wonderfully crafted products show up on various celebrities, supported fantastic organizations with donations, and appeared in national magazines and local television news shows. I tell my clients as often as I can that they are appreciated more than they know, but not only by me, but by many of those people who take the time to visit their websites, order there products and share them with their family and friends. 2008 showed me that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and the products you create and/or services you provide. I believe strongly in all the products that I send to celebrity moms, dads and babies, and I can only hope that my clients believe in me as an end result. I want to thank all the companies that I was able to work with in 2008 and I hope to be able to continue to work with you into 2009 and beyond. Baby Swags has grown so much over the last two years and I owe it all to the incredible group of women that have supported me and have given me the courage to continue to do what I love to do, while managing to stay at home with three kids, a husband, a dog, a cat and a fish!

With that said, *holding up my glass*, cheers to 2009! May you bring us many new opportunities, unlimited growth and exposure for all!

Are you a mompreneur?

Dec 17, 2008 by

Baby Swags is working on a very special “mompreneur” project and needs your help. If you are a mompreneur and would like to be a part of this special project set to launch in 2009 then we need to hear from you! I am looking at this time for mompreneurs who have pictures of themselves in action with or with out their family helping. Are you sewing an item with little Jimmy covered in thread, or do you paint canvas’s and little Sarah looks like she was the canvas? Or how about this one, your husband took a very flattering picture of you working late night with your hair all mangled and looking like you could have used another pot of coffee? If you have any of these types of pictures, please forward them to me.

When sending in your picture, please do not edit them. Leave them as is and if you have them in a hi-resolution format, that is even better. Also, when sending them in, this means you are allowing Baby Swags to use them as we see fit, such as for promotional purposes or advertising, or simply because we think they are cute photos and we want to share them with the world. We have set up a special email account for any and all questions and photos to be directed to. When sending in your pictures, please tell us the following:

Your full name (though it will not be shared, it’s just for our own reference)
The city/state in which you live
The name and URL of your business
How long you have been in business
What you make & or create
If there are little helpers in the photo, their first name and age
Would you like to be added to our newsletter group? Yes or No?

This is sort of a top secret project, but I can tell you it is going by the name of “Baby Swags – Project Believe”.

Please direct any and all questions and photos to me at projectbelieve@babyswags.com

Thanks for your assistance! Once I have more information to share, I will send out a newsletter email to all those giving me permission to get them added!

Interview with Happy Panda

Dec 9, 2008 by

I had the pleasure of interviewing Pamela with Happy Panda. I’ve worked with Pamela for a while now and I am so thrilled that after all this time I was finally able to talk to her on the phone! A majority of my work is done online or via email that it is always so wonderful to actually get to talk to someone who isn’t 4. Thanks a bunch for everything Pamela! For those that want to see what Happy Panda is all about, here is my little model when I first started working with her company. Gianna was so excited about that panda shirt, she wore it for about a month straight. She still has the little hat too that I catch her wearing from time to time, lol.

Daily Giveaway #5 & Review – The Baby File

Dec 6, 2008 by

The Baby File
This is a super cool book and is a must have if you are currently expecting or would make the perfect gift for someone who is expecting. The Baby File, written by Amanda Dobbins is a more than just a book, it is an organizer, much like that of your phone book. It is categorized with colorful tabs and provides you with information for before, during and after baby. It contains worksheets that you can actually write in. There are tear-out worksheets for your pediatrician interviews, your birthing plan, a feeding and diapering log, a food intake sheet and so many others for every aspect of your pregnancy and beyond. The Baby File is hard covered and spiral bound which makes it very durable. I really like this book because it is so colorful and best yet, it is user friendly and very easy to read and comprehend. It also provides you with a question and answer section at the end of each chapter to help with any of your unanswered questions. The Baby File is by far, one of the best baby prep books I’ve seen! This will make a great holiday gift for those newly expecting parents. There are two ways you can get a copy for yourself! You can purchase it directly from: Amazon by clicking here
