Soon, Mariah Carey won’t be the only one wailing high notes at home! Mariah and husband Nick Cannon give Life & Style an exclusive first peek at their newborns’ breathtaking nurseries—one in their luxe Bel-Air, Calif., estate and the other at their NYC apartment! Both rooms are filled with comfy chairs, plush stuffed animals and the parents-to-be’s personal touch!

“I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies,” Mariah tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. “Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities.”

Separate — but equally glam! “Designing the LA nursery with Gail Sedigh of AFK Furniture and world-famous decorator Mario Buatta was so challenging because I had such specific ideas I wanted implemented. I feel like I’m bringing two individuals into the world, so I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink.”  And dad Nick agrees. He wanted the twins’ side-by-side cribs accented with pink and green bedding instead of the traditional pink and blue.

Mariah’s favorite part of the twins’ LA nursery? The cloudscape, star-speckled ceiling. “The ceiling has orangey-pink clouds in a blue sky with golden stars twinkling. It’s based on two songs I wrote that are fan favorites: ‘Underneath the Stars’ and ‘Close My Eyes,’” Mariah tells Life & Style. “Sometimes I just sit in the nursery and stare at the ceiling because I love it so much. To me, it symbolizes wanting my children to dream as big as possible and to let their imaginations be unbridled.”  Mariah also incorporated her favorite winged insects, butterflies, into the nursery and super-soft stuffed-animal lambs, what the singer endearingly calls her fans.

Mariah has also been busy coordinating a nursery for the twins at her NYC apartment. “I prefer the East Coast schooling over the West Coast,” Nick tells Life & Style. “But there are other things that come into play, like work.”

While Mariah has enjoyed her pregnancy, she and Nick are certainly ready for the arrival of their son and daughter!  “Being a mother is probably the hardest job in the world. I feel like, in a lot of ways, children come into the world to teach us,” Mariah says. “It’s going to be a delicate balance between raising them around glitz and glamour and keeping them grounded. One thing I’m sure of is that I’ll be grateful for the twins every day, no matter what.”

Bachelor Split: Brad and Emily: It’s over!

Life & Style has exclusively learned that over the weekend of April 9, Emily Maynard made a phone call to her fiancé, Bachelor Brad Womack, to tell him it’s over.

“Emily told Brad that she can’t picture them getting married,” an insider reveals to Life & Style. “Brad’s not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he’s not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished.”

A second insider confirms that the relationship fell apart in recent days. “Emily was very close to moving with her daughter, Ricki, to Austin, Texas, just weeks ago, but that’s not true anymore,” the insider says. In fact, a friend tells Life & Style that Brad put an offer on a new home — without even consulting Emily or asking her to come to see it first. “She obviously feels that it isn’t the behavior of someone who plans to be with her.”

The reason for the split stemmed from Brad’s hurtful and erratic behavior. Emily became fearful he was cheating on her. “Brad seemed very complacent all of a sudden,” says the insider. “He did everything he could to woo and charm Emily on the show, and then it just slowed. Emily knows he likes Texas, he likes his bars and booze, so she’s just wondering if he likes someone else. It started to really worry Emily. She felt like, ‘If he’s not wanting to see her, who is he with?’”

So why hasn’t Emily simply announced a split?

Her contract with ABC prevents her from speaking out about the relationship without the network’s permission — and Life & Style has learned ABC called her on April 13 specifically to remind her of that point. Though the network can’t force them to stay together, a source says they have encouraged Emily to try to work things out with Brad, because they want Bachelor couples to make it down the aisle. “In the end, they try to control it,” Deanna Pappas — who competed on Brad’s first season and went on to star on The Bachelorette — tells Life & Style.

The friend, who has spent time with Emily recently, confirms Emily has taken off her Neil Lane engagement ring. “She doesn’t wear the ring anymore.”

I personally think they should try to work it out, even if the fairytale TV magic has worn off. Us as viewers need to remember that these two are people just like us! You can’t fake something for the rest of your life if the spark really isn’t there. Hey, after all that was Brad’s last chance to find the woman of his dreams on national television. Maybe he is kicking himself for not choosing Chantal who clearly wanted to marry him on the spot and was in love with him! At least she was 100% for their future where as Emily was holding so much back from Brad. Do you think he will be reaching out to Chantal anytime soon? They were so fun and loving together! In my opinion they were right for each other and  Brad was just infatuated with Emily. Sorry Brad!

Tori Spelling pregnant with baby #3!

It’s time for this stylish mommy to start stocking up on diapers again!

 The actress and husband Dean McDermott are expecting their third child this fall, confirmed via Twitter.

 ”I know there’s been a lot of speculation, so I wanted everyone to hear from me … It’s official … Dean & I are PREGNANT!!!!,” Spelling, 37, Tweeted Monday.

 Tori and Dean are already parents to son Liam (4) and daughter Stella (2 1/2) and will be adding another beautiful baby to their family!

 The actress told PEOPLE in February that she was ready to have another baby and showed off a teeny baby bump at the GLAAD awards this past Sunday in Los Angeles.

Between being a mommy, writing books, running her children’s clothing line and now starring in Oxygen’s Tori & Dean’s: sTORIbook weddings this fashionista mama will be staying busy for a long time! Congratulations to their family!
