Now that you have found us, you are probably wondering, how does all of this work, right? Here is a list of some of our most frequently asked questions. If you do not see your question here, feel free to contact us and we would be more than happy to assist you.
How do I get started?
To be included in our celebrity gifting events, you first must register your business. To do so, visit our “Contact Us” page and fill out the required registration form. Once we receive your registration form, we will visit your website, check out your product images, and see how you have started to brand yourself. If your business meets our requirements, you will receive an email with additional information.
Are there specific product requirements?
We do require that your products are top quality products. We have very high standards and expect the companies we work with to also carry those same high standards when promoting their products. Keep in mind, these giftings are going to VIP, A-List Celebrities, and other high profile people and your image at that time has to be top notch! We will look to see if your website is fully functioning (meaning, you are able to accept orders using some type of cart software or coding), the images of your products are hi-quality, professionally appearing in style, and you have appropriate branding for your business.
How many products do I need to supply?
There is no quantity limit at this time as to what you can supply. You can provide one product or ten, it’s totally your call. If however your product is an odd size, or is rather heavy, please contact us directly as additional fees may be added for our shipping purposes only.
What are the fees associated with using Baby Swags?
While we offer various gifting packages tailored to individual companies, our standard Ala Cart gifting option is currently $60. Some of our larger giftings (going to 10+ celebrities) can range from $200-$500. With this fee, you are still able to include as many (or as few) products as you would like. We charge PER gifting, not PER product supplied.
How much time do I have to prepare products for giftings?
We usually allow up to 4 weeks for receiving product. This should give you plenty of time to prepare your product and get it shipped to us. Keep in mind, we typically notify our clients as soon as a celebrity has had their baby, so by the time they receive our gifting, the baby is now 4-6 weeks old.
What are the benefits of using Baby Swags?
- With our exclusive membership, all participating clients will receive the following:
- The opportunity to get your products into the hands of celebrities and influential people.
- The opportunity to network with like-minded companies using our exclusive client network and community.
- Through out each year, we provide gift baskets to various charities for silent auction fundraisers. Your products can be included in those giftings at no additional cost.
- Your company will be included in our Annual Holiday Gift Guide (Starting in 2012).
- You will receive an exclusive “We Swagged With Baby Swags” gifting badge that you can display on your website and blog.
- Your company will be listed, linked and a product description will be included in our Celebrity Gifting blog post.
- You will have access to hi and low resolution product gifting images that can be used on your individual website and/or blog, we simply ask that you do not alter then without our written consent.
- Your company and product description will be included in our official gifting press release and distributed via PRLog.
- You will receive a press release template that can be edited to suit the needs of your company.
- When you become an exclusive Baby Swags member, you will qualify to be a part of our client spotlight where we will interview you and provide our blog readers with all the information they need to know about your product and company.
- Your company will be mentioned to our Facebook friends (currently 1350+), and our Twitter followers (currently 8500+). You are more than welcome to tweet/retweet on Twitter and post/share on Facebook as well.
How do I know celebrities are actually receiving my products?
We have been in business since 2006 and take our job very seriously. Quite simply put, the proof is in the photos. We have had our clients products spotted on various A-List celebrity children, received numerous thank you notes, and have been mentioned in various books, magazines, and other media outlets.
