What are we looking for?
Want to gain experience in digital marketing through social media? Baby Swags was founded in 2006 and assists small businesses reach various celebrities via our celebrity gifting services. Our growth has been a direct result of hard work, and strategically combining our business partnerships with celebrity outreach and marketing; we hope to improve our client results with your input and implementation of a creative online media campaign.
Intern Responsibilities Must Include:
- Help create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar.
- Relationship building with our online community & clients by maintaining Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media accounts.
- Track social media analytics and deliver weekly report noting successful strategies.
- Update content on our company blog.
- Update and create a monthly newsletter for our readers.
- Attending local (to their area) events relating to the entertainment field.
- Have a good eye for spotting client products and sharing the findings with our community and clients.
We are looking for an outgoing, creative, people person who seeks experience in product placement for celebrities, VIP’s and events through marketing and celebrity outreach. Our ideal candidate is someone who is confident, is a great listener, will take charge when needed, and someone who is confident in talking with members of the media. Candidates must be able to communicate to and with various celebrities, and must be able to interview celebrities and various members of the entertainment industry. This is a great opportunity to work directly with the President and SEO of a leading celebrity gifting company. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to interact with and attend various events as a way to develop and manage their own projects that will aid in building their portfolios.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Background in Marketing, Communication, management or other related discipline.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in WordPress and have some experience in HTML coding.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Detail Orientated.
- Ability to work in a fast-past environment.
- Creative and Flexible.
- Self-Starter
- Familiarity with social networking sites.
- Interested in the entertainment industry.
- Passion for helping small businesses.
