UNDERAGE TEEN MOM STAR AMBER CAUGHT MIXING ALCOHOL AND PRESCRIPTION PILLS

Even though her on-camera assault of ex-fiancé Gary Shirley had prompted a police investigation on the charge of domestic violence battery just a few weeks earlier, that didn’t stop Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood from partying hard.  On October 29, Amber, who’s underage, spent the night drinking and getting rowdy at a house party in her hometown, Anderson, Ind.

In exclusive photos obtained by Life & Style, Amber was snapped doing shots and posing with a bottle of vodka. She was also spotted making out with 20-year-old landscaper Jesse Austin in front of everyone at the party. Even more shockingly, Amber was overheard telling people she was mixing booze with her medication. “She pulled out a bottle of pills,” a partygoer tells Life & Style. “She said she needs to watch how much she drinks because she’s on something.” Gary’s best friend, Jordan Sanchez, recently told Life & Style Amber is on the powerful sedative Klonopin. When mixed with alcohol, the result could be deadly.

While Amber says she’s too overwhelmed to look after 2-year-old daughter Leah, she’s made plenty of time to party—and date. Since splitting with Gary, Amber has been out with multiple men— and now she’s added another.  Life & Style has learned that on Nov. 10, Amber went to Buffalo Wild Wings, a local restaurant, for a cozy meal with Clint Yunker, professional mixed martial arts cage fighter. “Frankly, it doesn’t look like Amber’s in any hurry to get Leah back,” and insider tells Life & Style.

No doubt about it, life for a single teen mom is tough. But facing the hardships of young motherhood under the glare of the spotlight is an altogether unique challenge. Luckily, 19-year-old celebrity pals Bristol Palin, currently competing on Dancing With the Stars, and Maci Bookout, star of MTV’s reality show Teen Mom, are taking on parenting as a pair. “I feel like Maci and I have the same situation,” Bristol exclusively tells In Touch. The young mom to 21-month-old Tripp first met Maci at the Candie’s Foundation Event to Prevent teen pregnancy in NYC this summer where, says Bristol, “We talked about experiences we’ve shared.”
 
Months later, the teens are still in close contact. “The other day, I saw an episode of Teen Mom, and then I texted her, saying, ‘Oh my gosh, I totally went through that exact same thing!’” says Bristol, who adds that “the show doesn’t glamorize teen pregnancy; it’s the raw truth [of ] how difficult it really is.”

Baby Swags’ Rockin Lollipop Lounge takes on Hollywood

The “Rockin Lollipop Lounge” gift suite will showcase trend-setting products to tween celebrities and benefit ACT Today! Charity for Autism care and treatment.

Plainfield, IL – March 7, 2009 – Illinois based Public Relations firm, Baby Swags, is setting the stage for their first celebrity gift suite in Los Angeles, CA. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2009, which will give teen celebrities access to today’s trend-setting brands, products and services. The event is held at the highly anticipated, two-day boutique style expo, the Baby & Tween Celebration LA, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall – Hall K.

“Baby Swags will host the “Rockin Lollipop Lounge” which will be a place where tween idols such as those seen on various hit shows can go and get treated to the latest trends, and where their fans can get a sneak peek at what they are getting”, states Baby Swags owner, Phyllis Pometta. “In addition, the “Rockin Lollipop Lounge” will be used to showcase celebrity signed puzzle pieces that will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the charity, ACT Today!”

The Rockin Lollipop Lounge will not only be a place for celebrities to go and pick up trendy products, but each of the invited celebrity guests have been given a blank puzzle piece to sign and return to Baby Swags. Teen celebrities at the event will be asked to have their photo taken with their signed puzzle piece and both will be auctioned off for charity. Pometta also stated that Baby Swags has received signed puzzle pieces from celebrities such as Jennie Garth and Holly Robinson-Peete. The puzzle piece is the nationally recognized symbol for Autism awareness.

The tween style gift suite, the “Rockin Lollipop Lounge” will showcase trend-setting products from several companies, which include but are not limited to, Jewelry, Accessories, Clothing, Fitness products, Spa Services and more. Glaceau is the gift suite beverage sponsor and will be providing a variety of Vitamin Water flavors to teen celebrities and Vitamin Water 10 to the celebrity moms in attendance. Baby Swags will also be giving away two celebrity teen gift bags to show attendee’s, one gift bag to one attendee per day.
