Gwen Stefani is one of the most unique and stylish celebrities out there. She has a style all of her own, she doesn ‘t try to be anyone but herself and she owns her look. She beams with confidence and many girl’s look up to her for style as well as a role model. Everything she does and creates is stylish and when it comes to dressing her kids she doesn’t fall short. Even her kids are taking after their hot mama with their own style.
This past July, the singer released an announcement stating that she would be doing a collaboration with Target for Harajuku Mini. She wanted to offer something different than what Target was typically offering. More of on the edge of cutting fashion for kids. According to Dailymail.co.uk she said this at the launch party…
‘I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the super-cute and playful kids’ clothing you find in Japan,’ she said.
‘The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality and having fun getting dressed.’
She added that she had been given scope by Target to break from the typical childrenswear offering and do something different.
‘Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices,’ she said.
On Nov. 13 2011 Target stocked their stores with her line. The collection is for kids aged 1 to 13 andranges from $3.99 to $29.99.
This is one of the hottest collaborations since Missoni and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Target is known for getting hot designers and celebs to create for them on a real life budget. Not everyone can afford expensive designer clothes but with collaborations we are allowed to get designer pieces at a lower cost!
he collection is high on fun, with ballerina-style tutus, polka dots and fuzzy hoodies complete with animal ears and slogans such as ‘Hazard’, ‘Love Makes Me Cute’ and ‘I Am A Monster’.
Like much of the singer’s fashion merchandise, motifs are Japanese-inspired, though elements such as tartan, skinny jeans and chequered flag-inspired trims lend a punk-style aesthetic that is rarely present in childrenswear.
Those worried that it will sell out as quickly as the Missoni line, will be reassured to know that the star is also working on a follow-up collection, due to hit stores in January.”
I am definitely going to be going to Target to check her line out for my kids and you should too!

While most kids across the country went back to school after the long summer break, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ daughter, Suri, instead flew across the country to attend New York Fashion Week! On Sept. 9, Suri was wearing a Phillip Lim miniskirt and dark-red lipstick and missing her second day of kindergarten at New Village Leadership Academy in LA!
“Because Suri is being raised a Scientologist, both Katie and Tom have to treat her like an adult,” a former employee of the couple reveals to Life & Style. “There’s no coddling, and they never tell her anything — they ask. So when she wants to wear her Cinderella costume to bed, she gets to. When she demands a manicure at 9 p.m., she gets it.” And that includes treats for breakfast!
In fact, Katie called in a “cupcake emergency” on Aug. 19, picking up four dozen of the Sprinkles goodies. “When Suri wants a cupcake at 10 a.m., she gets one,” a former Cruise staffer reveals to Life & Style.
Suri’s just among those tots in tinseltown that live an over-the-top lifestyle. Shiloh and her siblings are traveling the globe, Madonna‘s daughter has her own credit card with a $10,000 limit and the tiniest tot, Rachel Zoe‘s 6-month-old son, Skyler Berman, already has a pair of $3,700 shoes!
