Mindy McCready Welcomes Son Zayne

It’s a boy for Mindy McCready.

Although she was reportedly expecting twins, the troubled country singer welcomed a singleton — son Zayne – on Monday, April 9, she confirms.

“Zayne is truly a blessing and a joy,” McCready, 36, and boyfriend David Wilson say in a statement.

“It was a long and trying pregnancy; we’re so happy he’s here. There are no words to convey how happy we are.”

When asked by E! News to clarify why McCready delivered one baby rather than two, her rep replied, “At the time of the initial announcement surrounding Mindy’s pregnancy, in consideration of her size, Mindy was certain she was carrying twins; a misinterpreted sonogram seemed to support her feelings and excitement.” McCready is already mom to son Zander, 6, with ex-boyfriend Billy McKnight. Last November, the musician took her elder son from the care of her parents — his legal guardians — and fled Florida with Zander, taking him to a home in Arkansas, where they were found hiding in a closet.

In December, McCready said she “was happy” with the results of a child-welfare hearing, although she was unable to reveal the final ruling due to sealed court documents.

Hilary Duff Tells Life & Style: “Baby Luca Makes Us Smile All Day, Every Day!”

Three weeks after giving birth to her first child, son Luca, Hilary Duffis finding motherhood her most exciting adventure yet.

“The past couple of weeks have been the most joyful time,” she tells Life & Style. “Luca makes us smile all day, every day!”

Motherhood can have its difficulties, but luckily, Luca has been a great baby.

“I’m a bit short on sleep, but he has been the best behaved little boy,” she tells Life & Style. “We are so fortunate to have a strong, healthy and happy baby.”

Hilary, 24, and her NHL player hubby Mike Comrie, 31, who married in August 2010 after a nearly six-month engagement, welcomed their first child together on March 20.

“Welcome to the world Luca Cruz Comrie!” she tweeted on March 22. “Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy. We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!!”

“Wow I can’t believe I have a baby! The most wonderful, sweet, adorable baby! Thank you for all the messages and well wishes! Love you all so much,” she added one day later.

Congratulations to the happy new parents!

This past week has been super busy for me. My husband and I took the kids to the Jelly Belly Factory yesterday while out of town for my husband’s work. Of course, when I’m super busy there is tons of baby news to blog about! So, here is some breaking news and over the next few days I’ll be posting the rest!

Charlize Theron is officially a first time mommy! The Oscar winning actress adopted a healthy African-American baby boy named Jackson!

According to a source close to Theron, she has always wanted to be a mother and is happy to be doing it on her own now.

Baby Jackon is Charlize’s first child! Congratulations to the actress! I can’t wait to see his cute face.

The actress gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Feb. 27, 12 and named him Samuel Garner Affleck.

Samuel is now the baby brother of Violet Anne and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth who are now 6 and 3.

Such a cute celebrity family!

Life & Style Exclusive: New Photo of a Glowing Kristin Cavallari’s Baby Bump!

Just one day after Kristin Cavallari announced she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Jay Cutler, Life & Style has obtained a new photo of the former Hillsstar’s expanding tummy.

In the photos, taken three days before her big announcement, the 25-year-old is glowing and looks spectacular as she sports her eos Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm.

“We’re so excited for this little bun in the oven,” she tweeted on Jan. 23.

And Jay Cutler, 28, soon to be a first-time dad, echoed that sentiment.

“We couldn’t be more excited,” he tweeted the same day.

Kristin had even discussed the idea of having children one day.

“Well, I really want to have a family someday and be a great mom,” she tweeted in October, one month before she rekindled her engagement with Jay, a star quarterback with the Chicago Bears. “Once I have kids, I want to focus on that and not work.”

The couple got engaged in April but split in July. Ever since reconciling in September, they’ve been inseparable. The two are preparing to marry this summer.
